TRADICIONAL RECIPE AND OTHER RECIPES

The more fried the peppers are, the best they taste, so we include in our packaging a recipe of how to fry peppers as the tradition says.

Traditional recipe
  (simple preparation)

Wash and dry peppers, remove the stalks, fry in abundant olive oil pouring them in the frying pan when the oils is not too hot. Fry and cook to taste. Remove and sprinkle some sea salt.

You can also find the traditional recipe in all bags of A Pementeira at the back side,

They can be served alone as an appetizer or also as meat or fish garnish, becoming even more habitual to include them in any type of recipes.

The pepper as a fruit can be cooked or prepared in different ways: raw, fried, powdered or roasted, in gazpacho (cold vegetable soup) depending on its characteristics, size, thickness...

Advice: if you cannot consume salty or fried peppers try to cook them grilled or in the microwave, with a little olive oil.
